An incredible 90,000 visitors to Motorcycle Live were able to touch, feel and experience Zerofit – The World’s Warmest Baselayer® over nine days at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham, England, with the brand reporting record sales as attendees stocked up on Christmas gifts as well as buying products for themselves.
Heat-seekers were fast to arrive on the Zerofit Stand, eager to get their hands on the award-winning collection of products, including the Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer, Ultimate Leggings, Ultimate Neckwarmer and Ultimate Socks – the much-celebrated Zerofit Top-to-Toe Heating System that also featured and proved hugely-popular at the Pacific Marine Expo in Seattle earlier this month.
And after wowing crowds as part of British Superbike Day on the first Sunday of the event, Championship Runner-Up and new Zerofit Ambassador Glenn Irwin spent the entire Monday on the Stand, completing media duties, interviews and a content shoot, as well as chatting with fans, posing for photos and even trying his hand as a salesman. Pirelli Junior Superstock rider Sam Laffins – with three wins to his name last season – was also on hand, as was British Talent Cup starlet Peter Willis.
Attendees were also able to see for the first time the new Heatrub Ultimate Knee Length Socks which have been designed specifically with motorcyclists in mind – the extra 8cm of material completely covers the calf, and the socks have been designed without the Nano Pods that exist on the Standard-Length Socks, making them easier to slip into boots.
‘It was a fantastic event to be a part of and it was great to be able to speak with literally thousands of existing and new Zerofit customers, especially with Christmas just around the corner,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD who led the seven-strong sales team.
‘As a direct-to-consumer business, we understand that while lots of people are perfectly comfortable ordering online, it’s also important for us to put out best foot forward at these consumer shows like Motorcycle Live in our key markets so those who want to experience the baselayers before they purchase are able to do so. It was the same reason why we sent a team up to Seattle to do likewise for the commercial fishing industry.
‘All of the team enjoyed speaking with Show visitors and understanding their specific needs when it came to baselayers. Some wanted out-and-out warmth, so we directed them to the Ultimate products, others wanted a thinner layers that still offered thermal properties but with some moisture wicking, so they’d look at the Heatrub Move and Move Leggings.
‘One thing that also delighted us was the amount of Cold Skin and Ice Weave products we sold – it was freezing outside all week, but people were still thinking about buying for the warmer months even now,’ he added.
Give your motorcycling family member or best biking buddy Zerofit – King of Baselayers® this Christmas!
