Get Set For Ski Season With Zerofit – The World’s Warmest Baselayer®
With alpine resorts around the world preparing to open for the new season, skiers and snowboarders are discovering the unbeatable thermal qualities delivered by the Zerofit Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer, which is fast becoming an essential piece of kit on the slopes in our native Japan, here in the US, Europe and New Zealand.
Designed to reduce the number of layers you need to stay nicely heated in temperatures as low as 14° Fahrenheit, the Ultimate Baselayer ($90) delivers five times more warmth than a regular product, as verified following independent testing at the Boken Quality Evaluation Institute, Japan’s leading organisation for clothing and textile fabric analysis.
Such was the popularity of the Ultimate Baselayer, Zerofit engineers went about creating matching Leggings ($90) and Socks (From $29) which are made from the same material as the top. And now, ready for the new ski season, you can get your hands on the Heatrub Ultimate Waterproof Gloves ($89), too.

What Makes the Heatrub Ultimate Products So Good?
A regular baselayer will rely on compression to keep you warm, sealing in your body heat with a super-tight fit and design that is uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.
The Heatrub Ultimate is built differently – we use soft fibres called ‘Heat Threads’ (pictured below) to actively generate warmth as soon as you pull the baselayer, leggings, socks or gloves on. It’s this instant insulation that skiers and snowboarders love, because they can feel the technology working immediately, and because the products are so comfortable, they can happily be worn all day.

It Really Is Five Times Warmer Than A Standard Baselayer!
Truth be told, most of us at Zerofit are numbers people, and we love the idea of having science to back up our claims, which is why we sent the Ultimate Baselayer to Boken for that independent testing.
The product recorded a Heat Retention Rating of 0.78, while a standard baselayer would have a rating of 0.1-0.14, making five times warmer – all proven by an organisation that tests a multitude of fabrics every year.

Does It Regulate Body Temperature?
While the Ultimate Baselayer is the best-in-class for warmth, our Heatrub Move Baselayer ($76) is the product to choose if you’re going to build up a sweat while skiing or snowboarding.
Also tested at the Boken Institute, it was found to deliver twice as much warmth as a standard baselayer thanks to the polypropylene construction on the inside, but a second outer skin delivers moisture wicking properties so as your exercise intensifies, you won’t overheat or feel that horrible cold sweat sensation on the skin.

The Move works best in a temperature range of 23° thru 53° Fahrenheit, and we also have Zerofit Heatrub Move Leggings ($80) which feature the same technologies as the baselayer.
This Ski Season, make sure you’re fully loaded with Zerofit Baselayers!
