Zerofit and Scandinavian Retailer Bikeshoppen Announce New Distribution Agreement
Zerofit – The World’s Warmest Baselayer® - will be available to motorcyclists all over Scandinavia from March 1, 2023, following the agreement of a multi-year distribution arrangement with Bikeshoppen, one of the largest motorcycle companies in the Nordic region.

Based in Denmark, Bikeshoppen was founded in 1989 as a traditional motorcycle dealer and has grown and evolved into a true powerhouse, in part driven by their pioneering vision to sell parts online. The brand also owns the BoosterPlug company, which has sold more than 90,000 units since its inception in 2009.

Motorcyclists will be able to touch, feel and experience Zerofit products – including the Heatrub Ultimate baselayer - at the impressive 30,000 sq. Ft Bikeshoppen store in Viborg after the two brands reached an agreement in double-quick time following an initial meeting at Motorcycle Live in November, one of Europe’s premier consumer and trade shows.
‘We are delighted that motorcyclists across Scandinavia will be able to buy Zerofit products from such an incredibly well-established and trusted retailer as Bikeshoppen and we hope the baselayers and accessories will transform their riding experience throughout the year,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit Europe Managing Director.

‘The season for baselayers is particularly long in Bikeshoppen’s territory which means customers will get excellent value for money from their purchases of Zerofit products throughout the year. We are thrilled to add Scandinavia to our list of territories along with existing relationships here in North America, Australasia, and Germany,’ he added.

Bikeshoppen customers will have access to Top-to-Toe Heating with the award-winning Zerofit Heatrub Ultimate baselayer, Heatrub Neck Warmer, Heatrub Ultimate Leggings and Heatrub Ultimate Socks which all feature the same ‘Heat Threads’ that have been designed to generate warmth instantly.
The Heatrub Ultimate baselayer has been independently tested and proven to be five times warmer than a standard product and has earned rave reviews in multiple biking magazines and websites in the US, UK and Australia.
‘We are dedicated to offering high quality products and solutions to our customers, and it is an absolute privilege to add the Zerofit Brand to our business portfolio,’ said Jens Lyck, Director at Bikeshoppen.

‘The advanced technology and the high quality of materials make the Zerofit products ideal for the Scandinavian outdoor market with the diverse and partly extreme climate. We are convinced that the Scandinavian customers will love the Zerofit products, and we are very much looking forward to giving Zerofit the market position in our region it clearly deserves,’ he added.

In addition to the Ultimate franchise, the Zerofit Heatrub Move baselayer will also be stocked by Bikeshoppen. It has been independently tested and proven to be twice as warm as a standard competitor and complements the Ultimate perfectly, making it the ideal product for when the temperature rises ever so slightly.

It features a 45% polypropylene construction on the inside of the baselayer as well as a hollow polyester shell that work in tandem to regulate body temperature, so as the ride progresses, bikers won’t overheat in the conditions. The construction removes sweat from the skin and the hollow polyester design and ‘LABO’ fabric ensures it evaporates off the surface of the garment quickly, so the unpleasant experience of cold sweat on the body never materialises.
